The launch of my website heralds the publication of my forthcoming book, which should hopefully be available sometime in June.
...I think I'm just nervous enough about that prospect to know that I'm taking it seriously!
It's been an enjoyable, creative project that I've been working on since the middle of last year, spurned forward by helpful contacts almost every time I mentioned it. Big thanks to all those who offered constructive feedback on the manuscript in its various stages - I had a look back at my very first draft recently and while the core story is still there, it's a lot more polished now and much better for it. Another big thank you for my co-author and illustrator Andrew for bringing my vision to life with such vibrant and beautiful pictures. Also thanks to Rommie at Hardshell publishing for her support and helpful advice along the way.
Very much looking forward to seeing the finished product, which is going to be something of a surreal moment of having my notes and ideas take physical form!
